Head & Block BlastersA.R.E. Industries Head and Block Blaster has a removable basket 24" diameter and 32" wide that can fit 4 heads, 4 cranks or 1 block at a time. Heat treated 1/2" thick plates on each end of the basket have counter sunk preforations for rod placement of the removable 5/8" heat treated rods. 2 inch shafts are machined for placement of the 4 x 4 cold roll steel hubs and they are 100% protected with heat treated tubing and collars.
The cabinet is built from 7 gauge steel with a replaceable urethane lining that covers it 100% so there is no exposed metal. Two 5 horsepower impeller motors spin the 4 x 9 x 1/2" heat treated wear resistant blades in side by side inner wheel wells (one clockwise and the other counter clockwise) for maximum shot coverage. The door has pneumatic lift assists on each side for easy opening and there's a safety switch that keeps the blaster from running if the door is opened. Comes complete with a 4 bag dust collector ran by a 1 h.p. motor that keeps the dust out of your shop.

Wheel BlastersWheel repair shops love our wheel blasters. The 7 gauge steel cabinet is 100% lined with replaceable urethane so there is no exposed metal. Side by side inner wheel wells have one wheel operating clockwise and one wheel operating counterclockwise to ensure maximum media coverage. 4" x 12" x 1/2" heat treated wear resistant blades spin using 2 separate 10 horsepower impeller motors. 2 inch shafts are machined for placement of the 6 x 6 cold roll steel hubs and they are 100% protected with heat treated tubing and collars. A 1/3 horsepower gear reduced motor spins the shafts with help from 2" bearings that have aluminum seal plates to protect them from the blast.
The door operates using pneumatic cylinders on each side with a solenoid type valve to activate the door to open or close. An air lock system safely holds the door open in the event of air loss. There's a push button switch for the blaster and one to spin the wheels with a repeat cycle timer. Choice of electrical connections requires either 80 amp service for 220 volt 3 phase or 40 amp for 440 volt 3 phase. Includes a safety switch on the door, 2 amp meters (one per wheel well) for monitoring amp usage and NEMA 12 enclosures. |
